Electrician

About the role

Pullman Maldives Maamutaa, part of Accor, is looking for an electrician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and installations across the property. The role covers fault troubleshooting, panel inspection, generator assistance and rapid response to breakdowns and guest requests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and installations across the property.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including lighting, power distribution boards, wiring, sockets and circuit breakers.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, distribution boards, switchgear and related equipment.
• Maintain electrical systems so they operate safely, reliably and without interruption.
• Assist with maintenance of generators, electrical control systems and associated equipment as required.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and guest room or operational maintenance requests.
• Carry out routine inspections and report electrical defects, safety hazards and potential equipment failures.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, operational procedures and regulations.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, corrective repairs and inspections.
• Coordinate with the Engineering team and other departments for daily operations, projects and emergency repairs.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience, preferably in hotels or resorts in the Maldives.
• Ability to work independently, respond to emergencies and follow safety standards.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Preventive maintenance and electrical safety procedures.
