Resident Photographer – Luxury Resort

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resident Photographer to join the Sales & Marketing team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island. You will capture exceptional guest photography experiences, including private shoots, family portraits, special occasions, and curated resort moments.

Key responsibilities

• Capture guest photography experiences such as private shoots, family portraits, special occasions, and curated resort moments.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the island’s creative studio, ensuring a seamless premium photography service for guests.
• Edit, curate, and deliver guest photography promptly, adhering to luxury brand standards.
• Support the Sales & Marketing team with campaign shoots, lifestyle imagery, F&B photography, villa photography, and digital content creation.
• Assist in planning and executing commercial photoshoots, collaborating with internal teams and external creatives.
• Maintain photography equipment, studio inventory, and workflows to ensure operational excellence.
• Identify creative opportunities to enhance visual storytelling across guest touchpoints and brand communications.
• Ensure all imagery consistently reflects the resort’s positioning, aesthetic, and brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in photography, ideally within luxury hospitality, resorts, events, or portrait photography.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and the wider Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• Deep understanding of composition, lighting, retouching, color grading, and visual storytelling.
• Experience in portrait, lifestyle, and commercial photography.
• Video shooting and basic editing skills are a plus.
• Excellent guest engagement skills, making guests feel comfortable during shoots.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for luxury aesthetics and storytelling.
• A professional portfolio showcasing photography work is required.
