Security Officer – CCTV Operator at Luxury Island Resort

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer (CCTV Operator) to join the Security team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, a contemporary luxury resort in the Maldives. The role involves monitoring security systems, controlling access, and supporting emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV system, fire alarm panel, panic alarm system, telephones and maintain related records.
• Control resort access in line with SOPs and report all incidents.
• Respond to fire alarms, report to Security HOD or Deputy, and assist during emergencies per the Emergency Operations Plan.
• Assist the Controller during emergency situations.
• Manage and maintain keys regularly as required.
• Provide support for requests, including CCTV reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience in security, police, or military service.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of security systems and basic computer literacy.
• Proven experience in a similar environment.
• Previous experience in the Maldives or with the Jumeirah brand is an advantage.
