AC Technician – Engineering (Maldives)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AC Technician to join the Engineering team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, a luxury resort in the Maldives.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and installation of all HVAC units and equipment.
• Organise work in a professional manner within a leading team.
• Prepare and follow up on required spare parts for operations.
• Maintain high standards for engineering services in guest villas, back‑of‑house, kitchen and laundry areas.
• Prepare work‑completion and defect reports and schedule work plans for operational sections.
• Report and attend to daily breakdown work orders, ensuring equipment condition and taking corrective action.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in a luxury 5‑star environment.
• Advanced certificate in AC and refrigeration repair and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic repair and maintenance.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
