Commis – Indian Cuisine at Glow Kitchen

About the role

The Glow Kitchen at Jumeirah Olhahali Island is seeking a Commis specializing in Indian cuisine to join its culinary team. This position involves preparing dishes to the highest standards while delivering attentive service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain clean, hygienic work areas, refrigeration, equipment and storage in line with health regulations.
• Check and control proper storage of products and assist with inventory management.
• Support the kitchen team in delivering efficient, friendly service that exceeds guest expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Commis or similar role in a hotel or resort setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to learn and apply HACCP food hygiene and safety standards.
