F&B Attendant – Hotel Food & Beverage Service

About the role

Join the Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort as an F&B Attendant, delivering warm, personalized service to guests in a vibrant island resort setting. You will be the face of the food and beverage operations, ensuring memorable dining experiences while upholding the brand’s standards of responsible hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine enthusiasm, take accurate orders, and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and attention to guest preferences.
• Maintain clean, organized tables, service areas, and side stations throughout service.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and feedback professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Support restaurant opening and closing procedures, banquet services, and special events as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food & beverage service, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine‑dining environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
