Executive Housekeeper – Luxury Resort

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping department in delivering the brand’s signature standards of emotional hospitality, sustainability, and wellness. The role reports to the Director of Rooms and is responsible for ensuring that every guest experience reflects the resort’s values of local sensitivity, global sensibility, and pioneering wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient operation of the Housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring compliance with brand operating standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all resort facilities, room types, layouts, and public areas.
• Support the Director of Rooms in rejuvenating guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry services.
• Administer housekeeping and laundry facilities while guaranteeing a secure environment for guests.
• Implement, enforce, and continuously improve policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Guest Services, Reservations, and F&B to anticipate and meet guest needs.
• Instill a cost‑focused philosophy through staff training and education.
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, financial, safety, and security requirements, and manage budgetary controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Business Management.
• Minimum five years of senior housekeeping experience in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
