AC Technician – Engineering (Maldives Island Resort)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AC Technician to join our Engineering team in Jumeirah Olhahali Island. The role involves repairs, maintenance, and installation of HVAC units across guest villas and back‑of‑house areas.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance, and installation of all related HVAC units and equipment.
• Organise work in a standard and professional manner within a leading team.
• Prepare and follow up on the required spare parts for the operation.
• Maintain a high standard for all engineering services required for guest villas, BOH, kitchen, and laundry.
• Prepare work completion and defects reports, as well as work plan schedules for operational sections.
• Report and attend to daily breakdown work orders, ensuring equipment is in good condition and taking corrective action.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in a luxury 5‑star environment.
• Advanced certificate in AC and refrigeration repair and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic repair and maintenance.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
