Boat Crew Intern (Front Office)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Boat Crew Intern to join the Front Office team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island. The role supports the Speedboat Captain and ensures smooth guest arrivals, departures, and safe boat operations while upholding Jumeirah’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain communication with Airport and Resort teams for organized guest arrivals and departures.
• Assist the Speedboat Captain with checklists, voyage records, fuel balances, and engine/generator hours.
• Conduct technical, navigational, and mechanical checks on speedboats to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Help with mooring, fastening, and refueling of speedboats following safety protocols.
• Securely store luggage and goods during transportation.
• Provide guests with safety briefings and amenities according to service standards.
• Collaborate with the Speedboat Captain and Boat Hosts to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Record and update voyage details, fuel levels, and operational hours in line with resort policies.
• Execute guest, supervisor, or management requests promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate with a high school diploma; preferably completed a maritime, hospitality, or tourism‑related course/program.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a desire to learn marine operations within hospitality.
