About the role

Join the Pastry team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island as a Chef de Partie – Bakery, delivering high‑quality baked goods and exceptional guest experiences in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all mise‑en‑place for bakery operations to the highest standards.
• Train and mentor junior team members to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards in the bakery area.
• Handle off‑menu guest requests promptly, offering alternatives when necessary.
• Maintain bakery equipment, minimizing breakages and ensuring proper operation.
• Develop SOPs, recipes, and costing to control waste and improve cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within a luxury resort or high‑end restaurant.
• Hands‑on experience dealing with guest requests and interactions.
• Proven ability to guide and develop junior colleagues.
• Strong command of English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
