Demi Chef De Partie – Glow Kitchen

About the role

The Glow Kitchen at Jumeirah Olhahali Island is seeking a Demi Chef De Partie specializing in Western cuisine. You will join a dynamic culinary team delivering high‑quality dining experiences to discerning guests in a luxury 5‑star resort.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pantry and menu items following standard recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Inspect, select, and use only the highest‑standard food items, and manage proper storage of products, including daily inventory of walk‑in and reach‑in boxes.
• Uphold HACCP standards, food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and company SOPs, while maintaining grooming and safety compliance.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a luxury 5‑star hotel or resort kitchen.
• Hands‑on experience training and guiding junior colleagues.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to different kitchen stations and cuisines.

Required skills

• HACCP and food safety knowledge.
• Proficiency in Western cuisine preparation.
• Understanding of kitchen operations and portion control.
