Executive Pastry Chef

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Pastry Chef to join our culinary team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island. The role involves leading the pastry team, designing innovative menus and ensuring high standards across all outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and manage the pastry team to deliver high‑quality, innovative desserts and baked goods.
• Develop and design creative pastry menus in line with Jumeirah’s brand standards and seasonal trends.
• Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all pastry items served across our outlets.
• Maintain inventory, control costs, and manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
• Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and team members.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality or related industries.
• Experience working in a multi‑cultural environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
