Food and Beverage Service Internship

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage Service team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island for a hands‑on internship where you will support chefs and learn culinary techniques in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation, cooking, plating and presentation following established recipes.
• Support daily kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness, organization and efficient workflow.
• Ensure high standards of food hygiene, sanitisation and safety in line with HACCP and company guidelines.
• Participate in mise en place, preparing ingredients and equipment for service.
• Execute tasks as directed, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork and a willingness to learn.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma, certificate or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality or a related field.
• Passion for food preparation, culinary techniques and hospitality excellence.
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene and commercial kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Strong communication, positive attitude and commitment to professional development.
