Pastry Commis – Jumeirah Olhahali Island

About the role

The Pastry Commis will join the pastry team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, delivering high‑quality desserts and supporting the kitchen in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all pastry items according to standard recipes and ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain clean, hygienic refrigeration, equipment, storage and work areas in line with health regulations.
• Check and control proper storage of products and assist with inventory management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar pastry commis role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Understanding of HACCP food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to follow standard recipes accurately.
