Technical Officer – MEP (Maldives)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Officer – MEP to support our projects in the Maldives. The role involves site‑based activities, technical coordination, drawing preparation, estimation and commissioning across electrical, HVAC, plumbing and control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct MEP site inspections, measurements and technical assessments.
• Coordinate and support MEP installation and project activities.
• Prepare and update MEP drawings, layouts, shop drawings and as‑built drawings.
• Prepare BOQs, material take‑offs and cost estimates.
• Handle technical inquiries and resolve site‑related MEP issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of MEP systems.

Required profile

• Diploma / TTI / IETI / CGTTI / NVQ Level 4‑5 or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or MEP.
• 2‑3 years of practical MEP project experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, commercial or industrial settings.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Low‑voltage electrical systems, power/control panels.
• Air‑conditioning and HVAC equipment installation and basic troubleshooting.
• Water supply, drainage, pumps and related plumbing systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, VFD, RS485/Modbus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar drawing software.
