Excursion Officer

About the role

The Excursion Officer ensures safe, enjoyable, and memorable experiences for guests during excursions, diving, water sports, and other activities at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all assigned tasks according to daily briefings, management instructions, and SOPs.
• Ensure guest and colleague safety during all excursions and activities.
• Provide accurate information on excursions, diving, water sports, and all‑inclusive activities.
• Promote and upsell diving courses, water sports, and excursions.
• Answer guest calls professionally and handle complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Deliver engaging safety briefings and guide excursions following company standards.
• Assist the Water Sports team with bookings, desk coverage, and evening closing duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of equipment and facilities.

Required profile

• Maldivian national with at least 1 year of relevant hospitality or guest service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to build positive rapport with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Strong guest‑focused attitude, calm and professional under pressure.
• Good judgment and problem‑solving skills for handling difficult situations.
