About the role

Join the pastry team at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa and assist in creating a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts and breads in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients accurately for daily pastry production.
• Support the Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie during service, including decorating and finishing pastries.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, FIFO procedures and clean workstations.
• Operate pastry and bakery equipment safely and minimize food wastage.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a pastry or bakery kitchen is preferred.
• Culinary or Pastry Arts certificate is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen and flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pastry, baking and dessert preparation techniques.
• Understanding of food hygiene, safety standards and HACCP.
• Familiarity with pastry and bakery equipment.
