Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join our freight forwarding team in the Maldives. The role focuses on driving new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring smooth end‑to‑end shipment processes. The Sales Executive will act as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinate with internal teams, and contribute to the growth of our market share in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain competitive quotations for jobs and tenders.
• Manage client and agent relationships, overseeing shipments from origin to destination.
• Secure new business opportunities while ensuring client retention.
• Prepare and submit cost sheets promptly for pre‑alerts sent to consignees.
• Identify and pitch volume business opportunities such as FOB sales and minor accounts to support delivery order income.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE A/L or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, courier, air/sea freight (LCL/FCL) or consolidation.
• A degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field is an advantage.
• Task‑driven team player with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
