Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor will lead the stewarding team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and efficient support for kitchen and F&B operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the stewarding team, allocate duties and conduct briefings.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen, back‑of‑house and service areas, including deep‑cleaning schedules.
• Oversee washing, sanitising and storage of equipment, utensils, crockery and cutlery.
• Monitor dishwashing operations during peak periods and ensure equipment is safe and well‑maintained.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, storage, waste areas and ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and health & safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a stewarding supervisory role within a hotel, resort or professional kitchen.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, health & safety and sanitation requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
