Hairstylist & Make-up Artist

About the role

Join Pullman Maldives Maamutaa as a Hairstylist & Make‑up Artist, delivering premium beauty services to guests in a luxury resort setting. You will create personalized looks for everyday stays, special occasions, and weddings while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with guests to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles and makeup.
• Provide a full range of hairstyling services including blow‑dry, updos, braiding, curling, straightening and special‑occasion styles.
• Apply day, evening, bridal and event makeup, ensuring it complements the guest’s features and attire.
• Maintain clean, sanitized workstations and manage inventory of beauty products and equipment.
• Record guest service details and adhere to hotel SOPs, health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with Spa & Wellness, Housekeeping, Front Office and Events teams for seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Certification in hair and beauty therapy or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a spa or hospitality environment.
• Good oral proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Professional hairstyling techniques (blow‑dry, updos, braiding, curling, straightening).
• Make‑up application for bridal, wedding, photoshoots and special events.
• Sanitation and hygiene practices for beauty tools and work areas.
• Inventory monitoring and reporting.
