In-Villa Dining Order Taker

About the role

The In-Villa Dining (IVD) Order Taker ensures guests at the luxury resort enjoy seamless dining experiences from the comfort of their villas. You will be the primary point of contact for food and beverage orders, providing accurate information and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming guest calls and take precise food and beverage orders.
• Provide detailed menu information, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Assist guests with dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests.
• Enter orders into the resort’s point‑of‑sale system and coordinate with kitchen and service staff for timely delivery.
• Upsell additional items and promote daily specials when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate billing to the correct villa and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Previous hospitality or customer‑service experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude, team‑oriented mindset and willingness to work on a tropical island.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems and point‑of‑sale (POS) software.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage items, including dietary restrictions and allergies.
