Maintenance Technician (Carpentry & Masonry)

About the role

RIU Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Technician (Carpentry & Masonry) for its resort in Dhaalu, Maldives, within the Maintenance department. The role helps keep the resort functional, safe and aesthetically pleasing, supporting a high standard of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work on tiling, general masonry, carpentry and painting.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues so that service is delivered on time and efficiently.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to keep equipment and facilities in good condition.
• Ensure safety standards are met in all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other departments to provide timely technical support.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report on completed tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong skills in tiling, general masonry, carpentry and painting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
• Good attention to detail and strong communication skills with other departments.
