Pastry Commis – Luxury Resort in Maldives

About the role

Join the Pastry team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, a contemporary luxury resort in the Maldives. As a Pastry Commis you will support the creation and service of high‑quality pastry items while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all pastry items according to standard recipes.
• Maintain clean, hygienic workstations, refrigeration, and equipment in line with health regulations.
• Check and control proper storage of products.
• Assist in ensuring guest expectations are exceeded with friendly, attentive service.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar pastry commis role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP food hygiene and safety standards.
