Commis (Kitchen Assistant) – Luxury Resort Maldives

About the role

The Commis will join the culinary team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, delivering attentive service and supporting food preparation in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly, and attentive service to exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain clean and compliant refrigeration, equipment, storage and work areas in line with health and hygiene regulations.
• Learn and apply HACCP food hygiene and safety standards.
• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes.
• Check and control proper storage of products.
• Uphold high standards of social interaction with guests and colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar commis/kitchen assistant role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
