Transport Logistics Executive

About the role

RIU Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Transport Logistics Executive for its Sales department at a resort in Dhaalu Atoll, Maldives. The role manages the movement and travel experience of guests, working closely with sales strategies and commercial operations to oversee domestic transportation arrangements and coordinate with transport partners.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor transportation services to optimise resource use and keep service quality consistently high
• Coordinate transfers and oversee daily transport operations supporting guest movement
• Handle guest inquiries and communications about domestic flights, seaplanes and speedboats
• Liaise with internal departments, external vendors and transport partners for seamless arrivals and departures
• Ensure accuracy, attention to detail and high standards of hospitality throughout the guest journey
• Proactively identify and resolve delays, schedule changes or operational disruptions
• Maintain accurate operational records, track performance metrics and collaborate with other departments

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics or transportation coordination, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication for guest correspondence and partner relations
• Strong organisation, planning and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
• Proactive problem solving and calm handling of transport changes
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with external transport vendors
• Flexible and adaptable, committed to seamless guest experiences

Required skills

• Familiarity with logistics tracking, booking systems or transfer management tools
