Front Desk Agent

About the role

We are looking for a professional, customer‑focused Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests at Constance Halaveli, a luxury resort in the Maldives. You will ensure a seamless experience from arrival to departure while upholding the highest standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and departure, creating a positive first and last impression.
• Check guests in and out using the hotel management system, processing reservations accurately.
• Respond to guest enquiries about accommodation, facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests and concerns with empathy, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Manage telephone calls and correspondence, directing enquiries to appropriate departments.
• Maintain an organised front desk area and ensure necessary materials are readily available.
• Process payments and cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in front desk, reception or customer‑facing hospitality roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Friendly, empathetic and customer‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management systems.
• Computer applications proficiency.
• Cash handling experience.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
