Guest Relation Host (Japanese Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, customer‑focused Guest Relation Host who is fluent in Japanese and English to join our luxury resort in the Maldives. You will ensure Japanese‑speaking guests enjoy a personalised and memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist Japanese‑speaking guests, providing a warm, personalised experience throughout their stay.
• Act as a liaison between Japanese guests and resort departments, handling enquiries, requests and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate activities, dining reservations and excursions, and provide translation or interpretation when needed.
• Assist with check‑in and check‑out procedures and maintain accurate guest records in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
• Previous hospitality or customer‑service experience, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Strong cultural sensitivity to Japanese customs and etiquette.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with booking systems.
• Experience using customer relationship management software.
