Chef de Partie – Open Fire & Seafood Grilling

About the role

Join the culinary team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island as a Chef de Partie specializing in open‑fire cuisine and seafood grilling. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional dining experiences for discerning guests in a luxury 5‑star resort.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure guest expectations are exceeded by providing efficient, friendly, and attentive service.
• Visually inspect, select, and use only the highest‑quality food items for all menu preparations.
• Maintain proper storage of products, enforce portion‑control methods, and uphold hygiene and safety standards.
• Prepare pantry items according to standard recipes and ensure consistency across service.
• Clean and conduct daily inventory of walk‑in and reach‑in storage areas.
• Communicate briefings and important messages to colleagues as needed.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a luxury 5‑star hotel or resort kitchen.
• Hands‑on experience guiding and developing junior team members.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, hygiene practices, and fast‑paced workflow.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different stations and cuisines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to high service standards.
