About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commis – Open Fire Cuisine, Seafood Grilling to join our culinary team on Jumeirah Olhahali Island, Maldives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly, and attentive service to exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain clean and hygienic refrigeration, equipment, storage, and work areas in line with health regulations.
• Learn and apply HACCP food hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain high standards of social interaction with guests and colleagues.
• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes.
• Check and control proper storage of products.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar commis role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Open fire cuisine.
• Seafood grilling.
• Knowledge of HACCP food hygiene standards.
