Commis - All Day Dining

About the role

Jumeirah Olhahali Island in the Maldives is looking for a Commis for all-day dining to join its culinary team. The role focuses on efficient, friendly and attentive service, food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Exceed guest expectations through efficient, friendly and attentive service.
• Keep refrigeration, equipment, storage and working areas clean and in good condition, in line with health and hygiene regulations.
• Understand HACCP food hygiene and safety standards and be willing to learn them.
• Maintain high standards of social skills with guests and colleagues.
• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes.
• Check and control the proper storage of products.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the same role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
