Director of Sales - Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi

About the role

Bulgari Hotels and Resorts is looking for a Director of Sales for its resort in Ranfushi, Maldives. The role leads and manages all day-to-day sales activities, focusing on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that help achieve the property's sales objectives, while reaching personal booking goals and advising direct reports on theirs.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the sales leader and management team to define and implement a sales plan covering revenue, customers and the market, and support the development of internal and external promotions
• Lead the sales team to maximise revenue, set personal booking goals and recommend booking goals for direct reports
• Monitor day-to-day activities of direct reports, approve space release for catering in the absence of a Business Evaluation Manager, join sales calls and handle proposals, contracts and customer correspondence
• Analyse market data with sales systems, help Revenue Management complete six-period projections and review guest satisfaction results
• Represent the brand in guest hospitality, gather feedback from guests and at pre- and post-convention meetings, and enforce customer service and brand standards
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, work with off-property sales channels such as the Event Booking Center, Market Sales and GSO, and attend trade shows and sales missions
• Interview and hire management and hourly staff, and use on-the-job training tools

Required profile

• A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related field with 3 years of sales and marketing experience, or a 4-year bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience
• Experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area
