Curriculum Coordinator – International School (Maldives)

About the role

The International School in the Maldives is looking for a visionary Curriculum Coordinator to lead the design, development and implementation of an American‑based curriculum across all grade levels. This role combines educational leadership with the unique lifestyle of living on a tropical island.

Key responsibilities

• Design, align and oversee the American curriculum framework to ensure academic standards are met.
• Support teachers with curriculum planning, instructional quality monitoring and assessment strategies.
• Collaborate with senior management on school improvement initiatives and accreditation compliance.
• Provide professional development and coaching to promote innovative pedagogy.
• Maintain documentation and reporting for curriculum performance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Education with QTS or a recognised teaching licence.
• Deep understanding of the American curriculum framework.
• Proven experience in curriculum design, implementation or coordination in an international school setting.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work with a multicultural team.

• Expert knowledge of American curriculum standards and best‑practice instructional design.
