Pastry Commis – Luxury Island Resort

About the role

An exciting opportunity for a Pastry Commis to join the pastry team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, a contemporary luxury resort in the Maldives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly, and attentive service to exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain clean and compliant refrigeration, equipment, storage and work areas.
• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and control proper storage of products.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar pastry commis role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of HACCP food hygiene and safety standards (or willingness to learn).
• Ability to follow standard recipes and maintain product storage standards.
