About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/ess to join the Food & Beverage Service team at Alaaya Bay on Jumeirah Olhahali Island, Maldives. You will be responsible for delivering high‑standard service to guests in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and provide seating information.
• Explain menu items, preparation methods and ingredients, addressing allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Inform guests about daily specials and promotions not listed on the menu.
• Serve food using appropriate techniques and adhere to established serving standards.
• Handle cashiering duties, generate bills using the MICROS system, present and process payments.
• Obtain guest feedback, address issues promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Industry.
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training.
• 1–2 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company.
• Experience working in an international setting with cultural awareness.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency with Opera (Cloud) and MICROS systems.
