Commis – Open Fire Cuisine & Seafood Grilling

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commis specializing in open fire cuisine and seafood grilling to join the culinary team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, Maldives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly, and attentive service to exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain clean and hygienic refrigeration, equipment, storage, and work areas in line with health regulations.
• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and ensure proper product storage.
• Support HACCP food hygiene and safety standards and continuously improve knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar commis role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

• Open fire cuisine preparation.
• Seafood grilling techniques.
