About the role
Maahiya Transport is looking for a full-time speedboat captain based in Malé to operate its speedboats safely and on schedule for crew transfers, resort runs and private charters. The position is listed as closed.
Key responsibilities
- Operate company speedboats safely on scheduled and charter trips from Malé.
- Carry out pre-departure checks on engines, fuel, safety equipment and weather.
- Look after passengers and cargo, and keep trip logs and fuel records up to date.
- Report maintenance needs and keep the vessel clean and seaworthy.
- Follow all Transport Authority safety rules.
Required profile
- Valid speedboat licence.
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating speedboats.
- Good knowledge of routes around Malé and South Ari.
- Basic English.
What we offer
- Salary of MVR 15,000 - 17,000 per month.
- Overtime and trip allowances.
