Boiler Operator – Engineering

About the role

Jumeirah Olhahali Island is seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join its Engineering team. This position supports the resort’s high‑end hospitality operations by ensuring the steam boiler systems run safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and installation of steam boilers and related equipment.
• Organise work in a professional manner within the engineering team.
• Prepare and manage spare‑parts requirements for boiler operations.
• Maintain high standards for boiler room, powerhouse and laundry steam connections.
• Prepare work‑completion, defect reports and scheduling for operational sections.
• Report and attend to daily breakdown work orders, taking corrective action as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality or a related industry.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Internationally certified Steam Boiler Operating licence (valid within the last 5 years).
• Basic knowledge of steam boiler repair and maintenance.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
