Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

Constance Moofushi, a resort in the Maldives, is looking for a friendly and efficient Housekeeping Attendant. You will help keep the resort's guest rooms, suites and public areas clean and welcoming throughout guests' stays.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, suites and public areas to the highest standards
• Make beds, change linens and replenish room amenities daily
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors as required; dust and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, showers and sinks
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest rooms and belongings
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies, and collaborate with other departments

Required profile

• Proven housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Strong time management and physical stamina for cleaning tasks all day
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude and good English communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
• Willingness to learn new procedures and technologies
