Chef de Partie – Italian Cuisine at Luxury Island Resort

About the role

The resort is seeking a Chef de Partie specialized in Italian cuisine to join its culinary team on Jumeirah Olhahali Island, Maldives. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality dishes that exceed guest expectations in a luxury 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pantry and menu items according to standard recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Inspect, select, and use only the highest‑standard food items, manage proper storage, and control portions.
• Maintain hygiene, grooming, safety regulations, and SOP compliance throughout the kitchen.
• Support junior colleagues through training, briefings, and on‑the‑job guidance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury 5‑star hotel or resort kitchen.
• Hands‑on experience guiding and developing junior staff.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to different stations and cuisines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to high service standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, hygiene practices, and workflow.
• Knowledge of portion control methods and food storage procedures.
