About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commis – Italian Cuisine to join the culinary team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, a contemporary island retreat in the Maldives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly, and attentive service to exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain clean and compliant refrigeration, equipment, storage, and work areas.
• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes.
• Check and control proper storage of products.
• Adhere to HACCP food hygiene and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar commis role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
