Demi Chef De Partie – Italian Cuisine

About the role

Join the culinary team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island in the Maldives as a Demi Chef De Partie specializing in Italian cuisine. You will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests in a luxury 5‑star resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pantry and menu items according to standard recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Inspect, select, and use only the highest quality food items, and manage proper storage of products, including daily inventory of walk‑in and reach‑in boxes.
• Uphold HACCP standards, food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and company SOPs.
• Support junior colleagues through training and development, and communicate briefings and updates effectively.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a luxury 5‑star hotel or resort kitchen.
• Hands‑on experience guiding and developing junior team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to different kitchen stations and cuisines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to high service standards.

• HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine preparation.
