Hostess – Glow at Jumeirah Olhahali Island

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage Service team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island Maldives as a Hostess – Glow. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless dining experience throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, engage in friendly conversation, and make them feel welcome upon arrival.
• Schedule dining reservations, coordinate special occasions and follow the Restaurant Reservations SOP.
• Handle restaurant enquiries and bookings using the F&B Enquiry/Booking checklist.
• Escort guests to their tables, introduce staff, match dining pace, and present menus promptly.
• Answer guest queries about the menu, chef specials, and recommend food‑beverage pairings.
• Provide personalized service to VIP and regular guests, respecting preferences, allergies and privacy.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, including special requirements, while adhering to Heart of Jumeirah standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of guest information.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Industry.
• Basic Food and Hygiene Training.
• 1‑2 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company.
• Experience working in an international environment with cultural awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of Opera (Cloud) reservation system.
• Familiarity with Micros POS system.
