Pastry Commis – Luxury Resort Maldives

About the role

Join the Pastry team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, a contemporary island retreat in the Maldives. As a Pastry Commis you will support the creation of high‑quality desserts while delivering attentive, friendly service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly, and attentive service to exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain clean refrigeration, equipment, storage and work areas in line with health and hygiene regulations.
• Learn and apply HACCP food hygiene and safety standards.
• Prepare all pastry items according to standard recipes.
• Check and control proper storage of products.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar pastry commis role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• HACCP food hygiene and safety knowledge.
• Food storage management.
