Internship – Kitchen Operations

About the role

An exciting opportunity for a fresh graduate or student to join the Food & Beverage team at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, Maldives, and gain hands‑on experience in luxury hospitality kitchen and service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, assist with seating, and provide menus following service standards.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve meals and drinks professionally, adhering to Jumeirah’s sequence of service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
• Support mise en place, table set‑up, and clearing while ensuring smooth service flow.
• Assist with stock records, special events, private dining, and themed dinners as needed.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or currently pursuing/completed a diploma or degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, Tourism or related field.
• Genuine interest in luxury hospitality and F&B operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse guests and colleagues.
• Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and varying hours.
